Casting for Hope is a charity fly fishing tournament dedicated to benefiting The Hope Chest for Women, a regional nonprofit committed to providing limited financial assistance to women who are battling women’s cancers in western North Carolina.  The Hope Chest is important to us here at UCA because of its affiliation with Hope Women’s Cancer Centers where Taylor’s mother was treated for five years.  We’re tremendously excited to be able to help such a wonderful organization so that other sons will be able to spend more time with their mothers as Taylor was with his.     

The 3rd Annual Casting for Hope will occur on April 11-13, 2014.  We have partnered with River’s Edge Outfitters, who has extremely graciously donated to us their two miles of private trophy water on Rock Creek in Mitchell County, North Carolina.  This private water was recently featured on The Outdoor Channel, and we know that it will provide a great venue for this important event.
